Forest Lawn – Día De Los Muertos

Honoring Culture While Solving Complex Site Challenges

Supporting a community-driven Día de los Muertos celebration at Forest Lawn–Covina Hills.

Community events require a different kind of care.

For Forest Lawn Covina Hills’ Día de los Muertos celebration, Hundred House supported a culturally significant, family-focused event welcoming thousands of guests. The setup included over 50 food and retail vendors, tenting, tables, chairs, shade structures, and a custom-built stage constructed over an existing staircase… a unique leveling challenge.

Balancing technical requirements with cultural sensitivity was key. Every element had to function safely while honoring the traditions and visual language of the celebration.

Events like this reflect our belief that care and execution go hand in hand. It’s not just about what you build… it’s how you build it.

As we head into TSE 2026, we’re proud to share work that reflects both scale and intention.
